The girls learn variety of spiritual and real-life skills to prepare them to be amazing women later and dynamic young ladies now! The troops are lead by Sis. Freddie Poindexter-Scott, Sis. Johnna Solomon, Sis. Sequita Richardson, Sis. Brady Byers and a host of others.

February is Family and Friends month. Think about who you will invite to church next month. Write their names on the form. Think of people that 1. Do not know the Lord as their Savior, 2.someone who knows e Lord, but need to be united with a body. Drop those forms in one of the boxes around e church. We will begin praying and calling out those names to the Lord Jesus.

We will be going to two services, only in the month of February. The first will be 7:30 a.m. Sunday school is 9:00 am to 10:10. The second service will begin at 10:15 am.

I pray that everyone is doing well on this blessed morning! As the year draws to a close, I would like to take the time to say thank you again for your hard work and dedication during the year of 2011! God has been so good and has blessed us tremendously this year! I look forward to what God has in store for us as a ministry in 2012! Continue to pray as the church is still in transition! It is my prayer that Music Ministry continues to grow spiritually and that we continue to improve/enhance the gifts that God has given to us as a collective body!

Our church will be worshiping with Zion Grove Baptist Church on Sunday, November 13th @ 4PM. Attire: Fall Color Tops/Black Bottoms

Be on alert for our annual combined Thanksgiving Service with Metropolitan, Pleasant Green, and Morning Star! The service will be held at Metropolitan. Pastor John Modest Miles of Morning Star will be preaching. I have spoken with the directors of the other churches and we are planning to sing combined ( All Churches) at that service. Ebenezer Baptist Church will host their Pastor's anniversary here at Macedonia today at 3:00 p.m. The church will celebrate Pastor and Sis. Frazier's anniversary.

The "Experienceing God" series will culminate and conclude on Tuesday and Wednesday at their respective times. Whether you finished or not, please come out and join the celebration.

Deacon Ordination will be next week, Sept. 4 at 3:00. Come support these newly active deacons.

Wednesday, June 29 there will be a KAA parent information meeting.

July 9, 2011 will be a semi-annual business meeting. Join us promptly at noon.
We will discuss our next building phase. This meeting is for members and those transitioning to become members of Macedonia Baptist Church in KCMO.

The Office of the Chief Component Human Capital Officer announces the 2011 Summer Hire Program for Students (see attached flyer). The program will run from June thru September 30, 2011. Students may apply from April 4 – April 15, 2011 at fema-student-hire-me@dhs.gov.

95th Church Anniversary: May 11th - May 15th

The celebration begins Wednesday with

a spirit-filled History & T-Shirt Night you don’t want to miss!

Thursday is our Day of Prayer 9am –5pm & Prayer Service 7pm, and on Saturday we will have a community outreach event with Ivanhoe Neighborhood Association 3700 Woodland 8am-12pm , then we will have our Precious Jewels Program and reception for our honorees Deacon Alex and Deaconess Carita Marshall at 5pm, and on Sunday morning Pastor Donald Slack & New Hope Baptist Church will be our guests and culminate on Sunday afternoon at 3pm with Pastor Jessie Frazier and Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church.

Each member is asked to give $95.00 to our building fund
